ABOUT RICARDO
Ricardo Spinacè was born in Argentina and raised in Italy.
He is a graduate of OCAD University (Ontario College of Art) Toronto, Ontario where he studied fine art and graphic design.
He began his career as an apprentice scenic artist at CBC, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, while still in high school. He joined Nelvana animation studios in Toronto, where he became a head layout artist for many of the company’s animated series and where he honed his skills as a story board artist, graphic designer and art Director.
He has worked as a production designer, art director and scenic artist in Mexico, Europe and the US.
He moved to Vancouver, Canada in 1989, where he works as a Production Designer in Film and Television.
Ricardo speaks fluent Spanish, Italian and French and is now learning Greek.
