After a chance meeting with a member of a film crew in Banff, Alberta, John began working in the film and television industry in Calgary in 1993. Since moving to Vancouver in 1999, John has worked for many of the major American film companies including Warner Brothers, Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Paramount, Dreamworks, ABC/Disney, USA/SciFi, Columbia Pictures, Universal, Netflix and many others. He has worked as an Art Director, Set Designer, Scenic Artist, Lead Set Painter, Videographer and Graphic Artist.
John has worked on major Feature Films such as “Star Trek: Beyond,” “Red Riding Hood,” “The A-Team,” “Tron,” “2012,” “Case 39,” “She’s The Man,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2 and 3,” “Underworld Evolution,” “Catwoman,” “Superbabies” and “The Karate Dog.” He’s also worked in television on series such as “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events,” “Lost In Space,” “Smallville,” “Three Moons Over Milford,” “The Evidence,” “The Mountain,” “Jake 2.0,” and “The Twilight Zone,” plus pilots and miniseries such as “Once Upon A Time,” “Alcatraz,” “Lost In Space” and “Battlestar Galactica.”
